This is coursework designed to cover the first unit of EdExcel's GCSE course in Applied ICT, Presenting Information.
All the work is centred around a fictional education centre called Space City.
In Section One students prepare a series of business communications ranging from display adverts, business letters, Powerpoint presentation and creating a booking form. Duration about 8 hours
Section Two involves students creating a spreadsheet for the finance department of Space City and creating a relational database so Space City can keep records of schools attending lectures. A number of specimen booking forms are used to accompany this section. Duration about 12 hours
In Section Three students create templates and macros and use mail merge, used to produce a business letter. Also in this section students create a website advertising Space City Education Centre. Duration about 10 hours
