Stratford City is an ambitious regeneration project in the heart of Newham, which is seeking to attract businesses and visitors to its European business quarter by developing a strong national and international brand.
The brief was for students to design their ideal classrooms for the future. Young people worked alongside developers and presented to a team of architects who were interested to hear their ideas. Students used industry standard software to translate their paper based designs into 3D images that were shown on an interactive whiteboard.
This can be used for KS3 Design & Technology, Enterprise, ICT and applicable for the CBE Diploma. This resource and the accompanying film are useful for schools wanting to consult pupils involved in Building Schools For The Future.
